[Paris, June 27, 2023] – The “FAIRE2” project – Fabriquer l’Avenir Industriel et Répondre aux Enjeux Energétiques – led by Absolut System, a subsidiary of the Groupe Absolut, was named winner of the “Première Usine” call for projects in May by the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty.
The aim of this project is to accelerate the industrialization of prototyping, manufacturing and sales processes for innovative cryogenic systems.
On the occasion of the “Accelerating our reindustrialization” reception at the Elysée Palace, Emmanuel Macron presented the Plan France 2030 program aimed at accelerating France’s reindustrialization while maintaining its ecological requirements and ambitions. This policy of supporting innovation will enable the emergence of the first start-ups and innovative SMEs to develop “green industrialization”.
In this context, the “FAIRE2” project involves the industrialization of cryogenic solutions in support of the energy transition. These systems will facilitate access to liquid hydrogen, reduce the cost of transporting electricity thanks to superconductivity, and monitor greenhouse gases thanks to a satellite constellation.
The development of a new plant in the commune of Eybens in Isère, specializing in green technologies, will create a unique innovation cluster in the region, while promoting a more sustainable energy model.
Finally, the “FAIRE2” project will lead to the creation of around a hundred highly-skilled, innovative and high value-added local jobs in strategic sectors such as aeronautics, energy, space, defense, mobility and quantum digital technology.
