ACE-CUBE

ACE-CUBE is a cryogenic platform operating in a closed cycle. Versatile, it is designed for low-temperature scientific instrumentation.

The optical cryostat is coupled to the refrigerator by a cryogenic line that can be several meters long. This reduces the space required on the optical table. The cooling system is adapted to the required temperatures.

How it works

The cryogenic line operates on a supercritical helium loop that minimizes vibrations induced on the instrument.

The system’s key components are a cryogenic circulator and a high-efficiency heat exchanger, developed by Absolut System.

For very low-temperature applications (< 2K), we add a Joule-Thomson (JT) cooler stage, also operating in a closed cycle.

Key Points

Modular, efficient innovation

The ACE-CUBE offers high energy efficiency for 4K systems, thanks to the Joule-Thomson loop.

Absolut System’s cooling system can combine several cryogenic coolers such as a Pulse-Tube and a Joule-Thomson cooler.

Thanks to the remote cooling system :

  • Simplified access: “table-top” configuration
  • Low vibration generated by the cryogenic cooler
  • No nearby magnetic field generated by the cryogenic cooler

ACE-CUBE adapts to your needs in terms of size, operating temperature and cooling capacity.

Applications

Scientific applications (optics, materials testing, etc.).

CMOS-type Qbits

Characterization of superconductors and superconducting applications (SQUIDS, RSFQ, etc.).
